By accessing or using GuruKhata ("the Service"), operated by Tapas Dutta, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

GuruKhata is a mobile application designed for educators, tutors, and parents to manage lessons, students, fees, and educational operations. The Service includes features such as:

• Lesson creation, tracking, and management.
• Parent-Teacher Connected Ecosystem for real-time progress syncing.
• Student and parent profile management.
• Fee tracking, structures, and notifications.
• Attendance tracking.
• Educational reports and analytics.

3. Accounts & Registration

To use the Service, you must:

• Register with a valid email or Google account.
• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials.
• Be at least 18 years of age.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

GuruKhata offers both free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan:

• You agree to pay the applicable subscription fees.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are subject to our refund policy and applicable laws.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with advance notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Create fraudulent records or misleading educational history.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use automated means to access the Service without our permission.
• Upload malicious content or code.
• Impersonate any person or entity.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is the intellectual property of Tapas Dutta. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

7. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all educational data you create within the Service, including lessons, student records, and fee data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store this data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We will not sell your data to third parties.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• Tapas Dutta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.
• We are not responsible for any loss of data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, you agree to first attempt to resolve it informally by contacting us at tapasdutta@outlook.com. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or other channels. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
